Pro MFD: The 777 Collection Minimize

The product of the past few years of work is now known as the 777 Collection. It is a software application containing synoptic displays, for the 777, that run over a regular PC network. This series was designed to be used in full size flight simulators in which multiple screens are used to simulate the various displays in next generation aircraft. Each display imports data remotely from Microsoft Flight Simulator via FSUIPC and uses it to provide realistic indications, and even extensive data which is not otherwise available in MSFS. Each display can be selected by using the function keys (F1-F12).

Feel free to download our documentation to see what this application is capable of.

Evaluation Version

If you are wondering just how these apps work, give the freeware version a try. It consists of five displays, each with limited functionality. Its primary objective is to allow users to test their systems for compatibility before purchasing. Try downloading our User Manual below if you want to see how detailed these programs really are!

I/O capabilities will not be included in the demo version, as well as some advanced functions. Also, the fuel page is not synchronized with FS2004 in the evaluation version. The values are correct in the registered version.

The evaluation version still requires a key. BUT the key is free by e-mail. Please e-mail me at AirPanther@aol.com for your free key!

New for registered users in Version 7.1.1!

The long awaited bleed air synoptic page is now available! Here are some of the other features in the newest release:

  • Bleed air synoptic added
    • Ground pneumatics source selectable on the "GND OPS" page, supplies trim air and packs while on the ground
    • APU bleed air appropriately used for engine starts
    • Air automatically crossbleeds to both packs as required
    • Isolation valves currently only operate in auto mode
  • Hydraulic demand pumps now simulated (auto mode only)
  • User Manual updated to reflect new bleed air functionality

Registered Version

The registered version of the 777 Collection is a very detailed rendition of the Multi-Function displays found on-board the B777. Keypresses for each function are assignable via an external file, and all inputs are simple button presses. In the registered version, you get the following displays:

(Note: Colors in the application are uniform and vibrant. Please forgive the JPEG image quality.)

Major functions in the registered version include:

  • Full APU simulation (including electrical and pneumatic system output)
  • Double the number of displays
    • Flight Controls
    • Digital Checklist
    • Electrical
    • Bleed Air
    • Ground Operations (explained in user manual)
  • Realistic Engine Starts / Shut Downs
  • Keypresses definable for fuel cutoff switches
  • Hydraulic primary and demand pump simulation
  • Pneumatic system simulation
  • Virtual refueling introduced (explained in the User Manual)
  • Very detailed electrical system with all correct electrical system priorities

Comprehensive User Manual

The 777 Collection is accompanied by a comprehensive user manual, which details various aspects of the software. It is not intended to be a pilot manual, but instead it outlines the available systems and what actuates them. It gives information on each of the displays, and how they work in general. Information on how to customize the application is outlined, including how to add/change your own items in the digital checklist. Also included are sections telling how to perform realistic engine starts/shut downs, as well as APU functions.

The user manual can be downloaded after logging in

Completness

The default 777 displays in Microsoft Flight Simulator are maybe 5% complete when compared to the functionality of the actual displays. In retrospect, the 777 Collection is currently closer to 65%-70% "complete." In other words, these apps are not "done", but like Microsoft Flight Simulator, they are more than functional enough to satisfy even the most avid of users. As the software gets closer to completion, users will be able to upgrade at no extra charge.

Future upgrades will be available to registered users at no extra charge.

Commercial Pricing

The price listed above is for amateur flight sim builders only. If you seek Pro MFD for professional projects, please contact us for details.

After ordering
, please download and run the registered version available below. The program will provide you with a Computer ID, which you will need to e-mail to our staff at the indicated e-mail address.
